SUMMARY

CF Montreal started the game so badly that it was never able to get up and catch its breath. Sam Surridge showed his worth with a three-goal performance to guide Nashville to a 4-1 victory on Saturday.

Sam Surridge gave Nashville the lead by slotting the ball to the left of Jonathan Sirois in the 12th minute after being fed a deft pass that went through at least two CFM players to the foot of the designated player, who did not miss such a chance.

Nashville doubled its lead in the 21st minute thanks to a header from Walker Zimmerman in a corner kick situation. Shortly after, the locals hit the post.

Early in the opening of the second half, Nashville added a third goal following a nice exchange of passes, which allowed Surridge to score his second of the game.

Thanks to an own goal in the 65th minute, Montreal was credited with a goal.

Surridge extended his evening of fun by completing his hat trick in the 82nd minute.

A goal was also disallowed in Montreal following an offside.
