At the end of September, when the seasons are already well underway and autumn has officially begun, DZfoot invites you to take stock of the situation of our Greens.

Having succeeded in the previous international break with two victories in two matches, Vladimir Petkovic’s National Team has allowed itself a little leeway and will approach the double confrontation against Togo with more serenity.

If, collectively, Algeria is doing better, the Greens’ previous outing was not a smooth ride with a large number of injuries and unavailability which gave rise to many concerns. Let’s look at the players position by position.

A very comfortable margin

If our country cannot, for the moment, boast of having an environment playing in the biggest clubs in the world with the exception ofIsmaël Bennacerwhich will not play again before 2025, it is, on the other hand, fortunate to have a particularly rich breeding ground in this sense.

Among the potential holders, Hicham
Boudaoui
missed and Saint-Étienne, in addition to EN, following his injury. Since then, he has immediately regained his place (and benefited from the compliments of Frank Haise, who sees him as the best player since the start of the season).

On the more defensive side, Ramiz Zerroukifor his part, is clearly in trouble. Catastrophic against Bayer Leverkusen in C1, he has since been left on the bench twice. His coach publicly expressed his confidence in him and explained that it was just a bad patch.

Everything is fine for Adem Zorgane. Having remained in Belgium despite his perpetual wishes to leave, he is by far the best player in Charleroi (of which he is captain), just as he had shone in Liberia.

For more offensive profiles, we will note the fantastic start to the season ofHoussem Aouar in Saudi Arabia, where he scores and makes scores, but also on the gradual awakening of Fares Chaïbifor the moment shunned by Vladimir Petkovic in the National Team. Yassine Benziahe is still on his good momentum in Azerbaijan.

Back in the good books of Al-Gharafa and on fire again,
Yassine Brahimi also has a good chance of being there in October, perhaps more thanAhmed Kendouci. He will perhaps have the opportunity to meet
Abdelkahar Kadriwho has good playing time in Kortrijk.

Note, among other possible important and currently selectable elements of Vladimir Petkovic, that
Nabil Bentaleb has still not returned to competition, thatHarry Belkable finally continues with and it is the same for Himad Abdelliclearly not uninteresting in French Ligue 1.
