The Parisian tile.

Released just before half-time and replaced by Lucas Beraldo, Lucas Hernandez will miss the return match against Borussia Dortmund, next Tuesday May 7. Almost inevitable news given the action leading to the injury of the Parisian central defender, hit in the left knee while desperately trying to block Niclas Füllkrug’s strike which went on goal. The Team announces that the French international will undergo a medical examination this Thursday in order to clarify the exact nature of the injury. It is unfortunately likely that the cruciate ligaments will be affected and that the end of the defender’s season will be confirmed.

Beyond Paris Saint-Germain, Lucas Hernandez’s withdrawal could worry the coach of the France team less than two weeks from announcing the list of 26 Blues chosen for the Euro. With the recent injuries to Kingsley Coman and Mike Maignan, uncertain to play in the tournament, the absence of Hernandez would be a new blow for Didier Deschamps, but especially for the player, he who had to leave the France group in the first match of the 2022 World Cup for a rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the right knee.

Maybe the moment for Ferland?
