Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Tadart Center, under the supervision of the Commander of the Guercif Company, were able, this Saturday evening, to arrest an alcohol trafficker known for his criminal record.
This security operation resulted in the seizure of a quantity described as “significant” of alcoholic beverages, which were found inside the developer’s house at the Labir roundabout, affiliated with the Tadart group.
Security officers were able to arrest the accused based on specific information, as more than 500 bottles of alcohol were seized, as well as a cooling device used by the promoter to preserve the drinks, in addition to sums of ‘money.
Based on the orders of the competent public prosecutor, the suspect was placed under theoretical custody measures, pending the conclusion of investigations which will reveal all the criminal acts attributed to him and determine the identity of the main supplier of alcohol to the region, before bringing him to justice.
This operation was followed by a crowd of citizens who welcomed the intervention of the Royal Gendarmerie, appreciating their efforts in the fight against the phenomenon of sale and promotion of alcohol, and its negative impact on the youth of the region. .
