It was expected to be the match of the evening, a great European Cup match between two regulars, AS Roma and Athletic Bilbao, but the scenario meant that no one left with the three points of victory, and no one enjoyed it, either. First, it was Roma who struck, thanks to Artem Dovbyk (32nd) with a header, superbly served by Angelino after a masterful counter-attack. But she was unable to keep the score, sanctioned by Aitor Paredes, equalizer for the Basque club in the 85th minute after a free kick in the box. The match, with only five shots on target, ultimately leaves the impression of an unfinished spectacle, where Roma will regret having created very little despite more than 60% of ball possession.
