Bellecroix deserves its victory. More aggressive, with only one substitute, Mutombo’s partners (played by FC Metz and author of a quadruple for his second futsal match) never gave up, Neuhof having made the mistake of not killing the match when he led 3-1.

The “oranges” appear to be pressing through Mutombo but Sidibe misses his offering then Bouaicha repels his shot (3rd). Bakari conquers the ball and from midfield scores in the empty goal (1-0, 4th) before Hassidou twice fails on Ayouyou.

Mutombo believes in it by sending his free kick flush with the post (1-1) then smashing the post (7th) while Desroches is a hair’s breadth from crowning Shabani’s cross (10th).

The match is open but Sow gives his team the advantage with a pivotal shot which rips into the top corner (2-1, 12th) before Hassidou on the counter shifts Nassab for the break (15th).

In the meantime, Bouaicha had preserved the advantage with a tap on a missile from Diaby.

We think that the match is over but Metz fights back: Mutombo from an incoming post converts a free kick then back offers the equalizer to Shabani (19th). Logical score especially since Traoré’s men missed two penalties.

Three Metz goals in 130 seconds!

The recovery is balanced. If Ayouyou stops two tries from Touré and Hassidou, Kuscu delights with a double save then gives in on a lost ball (3-4, 27th).

Hassidou, who had missed a first cross from his captain by a loop, equalized on the second (4-4, 31st).

In the space of two minutes, on three personal actions, the Mosellans escaped, the last goal on a stunning passage from Sidibe (4-7, 33rd).

Hassidou, the best player, saw his shot pushed back on the line then his free kick tore the nets.
