The RSC Anderlecht training center will be managed by Tim Borguet in the years to come. He will succeed Mikkel Hemmersam, who decided to leave Anderlecht. The sports structure will also remain intact, communicates Anderlecht officially.

Borguet, 35 years old, is therefore Hemmersam’s successor. Borguet previously worked at Anderlecht as marketing director. Hemmersam said he aspired to a career as a head coach and would therefore look for a new challenge.

From December 1

On October 1, Hemmersam will leave Anderlecht for good. From December 1, Borguet will lead Anderlecht’s youth training as head of the academy.

Borguet is no stranger to Anderlecht, having been appointed Marketing Director in 2020. As Chief Academy, Tim Borguet will be responsible for the strategic direction of the youth academy and will continue to shape the model of Neerpede company.

The sports management – including football director Henk Mariman and talent director Peter Verbeke – will remain intact,” says the RSCA.
