The general public was eagerly awaiting this Yes 2after the craze surrounding the Ja 1, the first signature shoe of Yes Morant release in February 2023. The Grizzlies leader has since multiplied his misconduct, pushing the brand with the comma to push back its schedule for the Ja 2.
The timing is now right, as Ja Morant has cleared his suspensions and is back on track heading into a 2024-2025 season where he will once again be in the spotlight. With one month to go until the restart, it is time for the Ja 2 to take its first steps in the United States.

The goal was to keep the DNA of the Ja 1 while adding some specificities, with a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to ensure better rebound and better support of the midfoot. In addition, a part inspired by semi-trailer tires present under the foot offers better traction.
“From the Ja 1 to the Ja 2, the core elements remain the same. The work ethic doesn’t change. It’s more about comfort, more bounce, and bringing my fans different stories that they may not know. We tell those stories through the colorways of my shoe.”Ja Morant said in a statement on the release of his second signature shoe.
The particularity of the Ja 2 will also reside in the diversity of its composition according to the colors, like on this new color in purple, blue and yellow, matched with a ballistic mesh upper.
The Nike Ja 2 will go on sale today on Nike’s SNKRS app as a preview, with a global release expected on October 8th for $130.
