Sunday night in Ligue 1, a huge clash will take place between OL and OM at the Groupama Stadium. All the details will be important in this Olympico already on everyone’s lips.

OL have had a fairly average start to the season given the last summer transfer window. John Textor wants his team to get involved in the fight for the title, but it is clear that Pierre Sage’s men are not ready yet. However, they will have a great opportunity to launch their campaign when they host OM. Because the Phocéens are full of confidence and are currently runners-up to PSG in Ligue 1. Like OL, OM pulled out all the stops during the last transfer window. This Sunday evening at the Groupama Stadium, the atmosphere promises to be beautiful and exciting. This clash will also be refereed by an experienced referee, Benoit Bastien.

A scary arbitration?

The appointment of the French referee nevertheless caused a lot of ink to flow, while fans of both camps are convinced that they will be disadvantaged. Via X, we could see in particular as comments on the subject: “Nobody is ready for the goal validated for after a shot that hits the post”; “He will favor Varseille as usual”; “Aulas president of the commex and boss of French refereeing as luck would have it”; “That’s it, we are behind , they are already on a mission”; “Penalty for OM therefore”; “Kick-off of this 133rd Olympic… PENALTY FOR LYON”; “Force to the Lyonnais, corruption was too strong, you could do nothing”; “Sidney Govou and Juninho will be his assistants…” or even “Well, on Sunday we’re playing 11 against 12 against OL.” In acute paranoia mode in both camps, which at least has the merit of not making anyone jealous. Note that last season already at the Groupama Stadium during Lyon’s 1-0 victory against Marseille, Benoit Bastien was already in the game. And everything went well for the 41-year-old referee.
