As part of the “Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation”, the charity race “Crossing: Calvi-Monaco” started this Friday, September 6 in Calvi, until this Saturday evening on the Larvotto beach in Monaco. To welcome the athletes and encourage them on their last day of effort, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco made a notable appearance.

The riders reached Monaco from Corsica on water bikes. This year, the charity race covered no less than 180 kilometres. Among the bravest athletes, the Italian Francesco Castellacci received encouragement from his daughter Annabella in the arms of Charlene of Monaco.

As the little girl’s godmother, the princess posed for photographers for the first time with her. Wearing a jumpsuit by “Diane von Furstenberg” and adorned with a wooden pearl, Charlene of Monaco opted for a summery and relaxed look.

Charlène and Annabella, a beautiful bond

Francesco Castellacci is a 37-year-old driver, very well-known in his field (he has already participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in particular). For this charity race “Crossing: Calvi-Monaco”, his Ferrari team came in fourth position, behind those of Lionheart (1st), Rock to Rock (2nd) and Serenity (3rd).

This famous Serenity team included in its ranks Charlene of Monaco’s brother: Gareth Wittstock. The latter is none other than the secretary general of the Princess…
