Vlahovic sends PSG away… for the moment

In search of a very talented striker, Paris Saint-Germain sees a path closing. Targeted by the capital club, among others, Dušan Vlahović will not leave Juventus this winter.

The Paris Saint-Germain coach accepts his need to have a world-class presence at the center forward position to perfect his squad. For several months, Luis Campos has been working to find the star striker who will take PSG to another dimension and forget the goal machine that Kylian Mbappé was before his departure. Several names have already come out in the press, including one which has regularly come up on the table, that of Dušan Vlahović. However, Paris can already pack up its fine costume and abandon all attempts at negotiations.

Dušan Vlahović is not quitting pas la Juventus

According to information from Calciomercato, Dušan Vlahović has absolutely no desire to leave Juventus this winter. However, there is no shortage of exit doors for him. Announced in the Paris Saint-Germain papers, the Serbian international was also favored by Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, to name a few. A departure this winter is ultimately no longer a possible option, despite the very recent arrival of Randal Kolo Muani which will further close the doors of the first team to him.

The Italian media specializing in the transfer window claims that the management of Juventus and the highest paid player on the squad met in February, after the closure of the winter market, to establish a future plan. Under contract until June 2026, Vlahovic is entering a pivotal period in his career. Considering his sporting performance and the blatant decline in interest in him from Thiago Motta, there is a strong chance that a departure next summer will take place. Juve would then sell him at the best time, while the player would find a club in which he would have a completely different status. It's up to PSG to try their luck in the next summer transfer window.
