According to L'Équipe, BlueCo, owner of Chelsea and Strasbourg, is interested in Saint-Étienne midfielder Mathis Amougou (19 years old) from AS Saint-Etienne. The American consortium would see in Amougou, French U19 international (7 caps), the ideal future recruit to continue his development in Alsace, like Mamadou Sarr.
ASSE, which had refused an offer of 13 million euros from Leverkusen for Amougou this summer, must now evaluate its position in the face of a possible written offer from BlueCo. Since the start of the season, Amougou has made 16 appearances in Ligue 1.
