Rennes: a Japanese attacker arrives

As expected, things continue to move in Ille-et-Vilaine. After the reinforcements of Seko Fofana and Brice Samba then the loan departures of Henrik Meister (Pisa), Albert Grønbæk (Southampton) and Baptiste Santamaria (Nice), Stade Rennais would be on the verge of completing the arrival of Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi. The Japanese international (25 caps, 5 goals) should sign a contract for a period of three and a half years, until June 2028.

A transfer that hides another

The 30-year-old, who has been playing in Scotland since the summer of 2021, has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season.
