The recruitment of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was made official by PSG last week, and the offensive sector of the capital club could well be upset by this big reinforcement. And according to Pierre Ménès, it is Bradley Barcola who should be the first to pay the price for this signing of the Georgian striker from Naples.
Courted by the PSG since last summer, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23 years old) was finally recruited this winter. The capital club finally reached an agreement worth €70 million with Naples for the Georgian striker, and the operation was made official last Friday by PSG.
-Ménès wants to see Kvaratskhelia on the left
In a video broadcast on his channel Youtube, Pierrot the Football, Pierre Menes discusses the future positioning of Kvaratskhelia au PSGwhile there seems to be a possibility of seeing him evolve as a nine rather than on the left flank of the attack, his usual position: “ I think that spending €70M not to make him play in his best position is a mistake », notes the former consultant of Canal +.
“Barcola will lose some playing time”
But then, what will happen to Bradley Barcola if he were to be dislodged from the left side of the attack of the PSG par Kvaratskhelia ? « I think it's more Ousmane Dembélé who will find himself false center forward and Barcola on the right, and perhaps Barcola will lose a little playing time », continues Pierre Menes on the French striker, who could therefore be a victim of the last big transfer of the PSG.
