Mercato OM – Why the Gimenez file promises to be very complicated

OM should have difficulty signing Santiago Gimenez (Feyenoord) this winter. Its leaders are reportedly waiting for 35 million euros to let him go, and AC Milan have already reached an agreement with the player.

Santiago Gimenez would be one of the avenues explored by OM to compensate for the probable departure of Elye Wahi to Frankfurt. The Mexican international (32 caps) ticks all the boxes. But his file looks complicated: according to journalist Rudy Galetti, Feyenoord does not intend to negotiate for less than 35 million euros this winter, and only through a direct transfer. As for the player, he gave his agreement to… AC Milan, reports his colleague Sebastiano Sarno. The Italian club has even already agreed with Feyenoord for a loan accompanied by a purchase obligation of 30 million euros.

leaders will likely have to explore other avenues to replace Elye Wahi.
