The Toulouse Football Club has decided to go on the offensive by filing a complaint concerning the qualification of Thiago Almadathe latest recruit from Olympique Lyonnais. This decision follows the draw between the two teams last Saturday (0-0) and raises questions about the legality of the transfer according to many observers.
A free loan that raises questions
At the heart of the controversy, the fact that Thiago Almada arrived in Lyon from Botafogoa Brazilian club that is part of the galaxy of John Textorthe American owner of OL. This free loan allowed Olympique Lyonnais, although banned from recruiting by the DNCG, to enlist the young 22-year-old Argentinian.
