For the reception of the Alsatian club, Roberto De Zerbi chose to convene a group of 23 players. As announced on Saturday, Valentin Rongier (30 years old) is forfeited for this meeting at the Vélodrome. The former Nantes player, who suffers from muscular discomfort in his right thigh, is being preserved by the medical staff despite his undeniable influence in the midfield for several weeks.
Arriving free at the start of January after a rather disappointing adventure with Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, defender Luiz Felipe (27) made his first appearance in the squad. Also victim of a muscle injury, Michael Murillo (22 years old) is however absent from this group reinforced by several young people (Vaz, Abdallah, Bakola).
