As already a few months ago, the Geoffroy Guichard stadium and the AS Saint-Etienne store were victims of acts of vandalism. The supposed perpetrators would be OL supporters, if certain inscriptions are to be believed.

Last October, before the return of the derby between theOL and theAS Saint-Etienneacts of vandalism had already taken place in Forez. The approach to the derby could have explained this infantile behavior, which remains reprehensible. What could be the reason to explain those which have occurred in recent hours? Apart from human stupidity, it's difficult to find anything else to say about this kind of behavior. This weekend, the Geoffroy Guichard stadium and the ASSE store were once again the scene of tags, as shown by the X account The Stéphanoise Tribune.

Some notably targeted the Saint-Etienne goalkeeper Gautier Larsonneurin the sights of supporters during the derby. These insulting remarks, in addition to those aimed at the Greens, were accompanied by two mentions “Indep Brigatta Six Nine” et “BSN 69”. Tags as a signature? Whatever the case, the rivalry between OL and Saint-Etienne is not intended to exceed these limits. Antagonism is necessarily present, but must be done with respect. On one side, as on the other.
