With a lighter schedule, newfound momentum and the expertise of De Zerbi, OM can still dream of the title despite the gap with PSG.

At mid-season, Olympique de is in second place in the championship with 36 points in 17 days. This total, the best since the 2014-2015 season, testifies to a newfound regularity and seriousness. However, the gap with Saint-Germain remains significant: 10 points separate the two clubs before the match against this Sunday.

For observers, this chasm seems impassable. But appearances are sometimes deceiving, and OM has objective reasons to believe in a stunning scenario. The dynamic of the team, driven by the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi and a series of convincing performances, fuels the hope of a fierce fight until the last day.

Believing in such a feat does not only depend on the Marseillais. A reduction in performance by PSG, focused on its European objective, could offer a unique opportunity. But to do this, Marseille will have to maintain its pace and avoid the gaps which have sometimes slowed it down in the past.
