Olympique de Marseille this weekend became the first Ligue 1 team to launch its Football team for amputees.
In an official press release published this Saturday, Olympique de Marseille was pleased to become the first Ligue 1 club to have a team of amputees. “This Sunday, January 19, the players of the new “football for amputees” section of Olympique de Marseille will take to the pitches of the OM Campus for their first training session. They will be given their equipment and welcomed by Lucie Venet, Executive Director of Treizième Homme, the organization which will support the team. details the Marseille club in its press release.
