Unfortunately, he was injured in the ankle ligament during his second match with the Girondins de Bordeaux, which kept him away from the field for two months, and at the same time gave the chance to Nathanaël Nai, who showed very good performances. things.

Having spent five seasons at Amiens, he left free, the fault of competition for his position, but also to free up payroll. The Bordeaux right-back, before signing for Gironde, had several offers, notably from abroad, but he wanted to stay in France. Sud Ouest reports that these offers came from “D1 abroad, with a club competing in the European Cup and Gulf countries”. Although he also had contacts in Ligue 2, it was indeed John Williams who made the difference and convinced him to participate in the Bordeaux project. The main person concerned explains.
