PSG surprised everyone by making an offer to recruit Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller.
For its last match in the regular season of the Champions League, PSG will travel to Stuttgart with the ambition of snatching a place in the play-offs, if all is not lost by then. However, there is a good chance that the stakes in this meeting will be enormous. Obviously, the capital club has already seen the German team play several times, since one of its players could even move to the opposite camp in January. Indeed, the specialized account PSG Inside Actus announces that the Ile-de-France team is eyeing Angelo Stiller. The native of Munich was never able to establish himself at Bayern, and took circuitous paths to now become a German international. This defensive midfielder notably exploded last season with VfB, and he is now one of Stuttgart's very high market value players, since he is valued at more than 30 million euros.
Barça and Bayern are on him
This did not slow down PSG which, according to the insider account, made a direct offer to the German team to recover Stiller. The amount of the proposal has not been revealed but it shows the seriousness of Parisian interest. The chances of seeing it accepted are, however, very slim, even if Parisian leaders hope that this will open negotiations. The goal is to undermine the politeness of clubs like FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich, which plans to recover its former player, who arrived at the Bavarian club at the age of 9. At a time when Fabian Ruiz is unable to find his place, Luis Enrique believes he lacks a bit of choice in midfield, where Zaire-Emery is not having an incredible season.
-The German international would thus bring energy and new blood, while fully entering the PSG project with his profile as a young player and still having significant room for improvement.
