“We have rediscovered our state of mind” relishes Olivier Létang after OM – LOSC

Passing through the mixed zone following LOSC's victory over OM (1-1, 3-4 tab) and their qualification for the round of 16 of the Coupe de , Olivier Létang wore a big smile.

Despite the difficulty of the draw, and the current poor dynamic, LOSC thwarted the trap set by Olympique de and Roberto De Zerbi this Tuesday. Angry and determined, the Mastiffs sought their qualification with forceps, following an intense penalty shootout (1-1, 3-4 tab). In the stands then at the edge of the pitch, Olivier Létang obviously appreciated:
“We were not at all in crisis or in a period of tension, but we knew that we had to change a certain number of things: attitudes. The first two matches of 2025 were disappointments. We knew it would be very difficult against OM, a team which is on very good momentum. We have regained our state of mind. The boys did the right thing”greeted the leader.

Was LOSC in a negative spiral in 2025?
“It’s part of the things behind the curtain.
We were not satisfied with the attitudes regardless of the results. You can't win if everyone isn't 100% dedicated to the team. It was important to reverse the trend and the boys did it. We remain alive today and we are very happy because the Coupe de France is a fantastic competition
he continued to savor, then taking Vito Mannone, hero of the evening, as an example. All the boys who are there are important, all at their level.
Vito (Mannone) is part of this group and congratulations to him, because he put in a great performance. It's never easy to play here, so well done. We will achieve great things if all players are 100% and his match is an example of that. »

Finally, the president of LOSC wishes to remember two things:
“It’s a great satisfaction to come and qualify here. We continue our journeyhe launched with a first point.
We are still in contention on three fronts and we are part of the history of the club, which is always important. We were finally co-holders of the invincibility record. Today, we are alone at 20 matches. It’s a real satisfaction too, even if the most important thing remains the qualification and the state of mind displayed”concluded Olivier Létang, with a smile on his lips.
