Luis Enrique's adventure at PSG seems rather successful with a Ligue 1 title, a Coupe de France and two Champions Trophy since his arrival in 2023. Last night, the Spanish coach saw his team win 2-1 against to the red lantern Saint Etienne with a double from Ousmane Dembélé. A success which allows the Parisians to take 7 points ahead of Olympique de Marseille, 2nd with 36 points and to prepare as best as possible for the three matches which await them with the 16th final of the Coupe de France in Clermont-Ferrand on Wednesday against Espaly, the trip to Lens on Saturday for the 18th day of Ligue 1 and finally the decisive match on January 22 against Manchester City in the Champions League.

Luis Enrique also delivered a great performance this season in Ligue 1 since PSG did not lose any of their first 17 matches in the league (13 wins, 4 draws), a first since the 2018/2019 financial year with Thomas Tuchel on the bench. A more than good result for the Barcelona native who must now achieve the milestone long awaited by Parisian fans of winning the Champions League.
