After failing to recruit Amine Salama (Stade de Reims, 24 years old), FC Nantes is considering repatriating former PSG and LOSC midfielder Jonathan Ikoné (Fiorentina, 26 years old) to Ligue 1 during the winter transfer window.
FC Nantes has further ideas to strengthen Antoine Kombouaré's squad in the winter transfer window. After failing to attract Amine Salama (Stade de Reims, 24 years old) to the banks of the Erdre, L'Équipe announces that the Kita are considering repatriating Jonathan Ikoné (26 years old) to Ligue 1 in the winter transfer window.
Already an offer from FC Nantes?
Under contract until 2026 with Fiorentina, the French international has already been the subject of a concrete offer from FC Nantes. A Fiorentina player since January 2022, the former attacking midfielder for PSG, MHSC and LOSC is however of interest to several French clubs in this transfer window. Competition therefore promises to be fierce on this issue.
Lens, Rennes and Strasbourg also in the race
Stade Rennais, RC Strasbourg and to a lesser extent RC Lens have shown signs of interest in Ikoné in recent days while certain foreign teams are also interested. Finally, the Qatar Stars League and Saudi clubs have not abandoned the idea of bringing the French winger into their ranks.
