Former Arsenal player, Francis Coquelin almost joined FC Nantes. But the transfer failed.

For three seasons, Francis Coquelin made Arsenal’s heyday. But while we might have thought that the footballer could last forever with the Gunners, he was transferred to Valencia (2018-2020) then two years later to Villarreal Villarreal (2020-2024). The midfielder could have made his return to France in the summer, by signing for FC Nantes.
