AS Monaco would no longer be the only French team interested in Manfred Ugalde. Paris Saint-Germain also wants the Costa Rican international.
PSG leaders are still testing the waters to find Randal Kolo Muani’s replacement. They would intend to bring back the Frenchman Christopher Nkunku or even sign the Colombian John Duran. However, the Aston Villa striker is far from being the only South American center forward in the Parisian club’s books.
PSG would also be on the trail of a certain Manfred Ugalde. A true sensation for Spartak Moscow for two seasons, the Costa Rican striker is starting to thrill the big European clubs. In England, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, West Ham, Newcastle, Brentford, Brighton et Nottingham Forest would all be seduced by the performances of the young 22-year-old player.
In France, Monaco considered Manfred Ugalde to replace Folarin Balogun, who was injured for several months. But the Rocher club will have to deal with serious competition from PSG. According to Sport Express, the capital club firmly intends to enlist the top scorer in the Russian championship (15 goals in 18 matches).
