While he was courted by Paris SG, during the summer period of the transfer market for the 2024-2025 season, Joshua Kimmich seems close to further extending the adventure with Bayern Munich, which he has been attending this year 2025, for a decade exactly.
The Bavarian club is indeed preparing a substantial offer to convince him to extend his contract. The German midfielder, currently one of the squad’s top executives with an annual salary of around 20 million euros, could be offered a new four-year lease, according to information revealed by Bild.
A contract worth €120 million in total for the German international
In a strong position in the negotiations thanks to his regular form in the services he delivers and his physical reliability, the 29-year-old German international should maintain his level of remuneration, accompanied by bonuses. With a signing bonus, the total investment for the Bavarian club could be around 120 million euros over the duration of the contract.
A substantial sum which testifies to the importance of the player for Bayern, while the club had initially considered a salary reduction. A scenario that is now unlikely given the performance of Kimmich, who has once again become an indispensable part of the team.
