The Professional Football League announced, this Thursday through the publication of a press release, a change in the scheduling of some of its matches. Some kickoffs will be moved to 9:05 p.m.
This was not expected, but it will not greatly disrupt our habits. The Professional Football League has announced a slight change to the program schedule for the next McDonald’s Ligue 1 days: “As of the 17th day of Ligue 1 McDonald’s, the kick-off of Saturday evening matches will be moved to 9:05 p.m. to allow better editorialization of the pre-matches”we can read in a press release published this Thursday.
Another modification, this standard will also concern Friday matches when two are broadcast on the same evening: “Decided in consultation with DAZN, this arrangement will also apply for Friday evening at 9:05 p.m. in the event that a match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.”also specifies the Professional Football League. Thus, while this change takes effect this weekend, on the occasion of the seventeenth day of Ligue 1, the kickoff of the match between LOSC and AJ Auxerre scheduled for this Friday, January 10 will be shifted by five minutes on the Abbé-Deschamps lawn.
This decision modifies the course of the days already scheduled, namely the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth rounds of the French championship. The following kickoffs are moved to 9:05 p.m. This concerns LOSC on two occasions.
