PSG has not changed its mind about the Parc des Princes. The idea is still to move to a new stadium and a priori, this sensitive issue should see significant progress during the year 2025.
For several months, Paris Saint-Germain has been discussing the idea of building its future stadium and thus leaving the Parc des Princes. What initially looked like pressure on the city of Paris to buy the Park became a brutal reality that was difficult for supporters to accept. Regardless of the identity of the city's future Mayor, Paris SG wants to build its new stadium, larger, more modern and more profitable.
A colossal project is currently under study, with a stadium whose total capacity will be between 50,000 and 90,000 seats and which will include several hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, offices and medical centers. This colossal project is, however, still unclear because Paris Saint-Germain has not yet made a decision on the location of the future stadium. But things are progressing according to the account PSG Inside Actuwhich reveals on X that the stadium project should experience a massive acceleration during this new year.

“The new stadium project is progressing slowly but surely. Paris has moved to several sites and Parisian management will surely make decisions this year” published the specialist of Paris Saint-Germain, for whom big announcements are to be expected during the year 2025. In recent weeks, several possibilities have leaked concerning the potential location of the future stadium: Poissy, Saint-Quentin-en -Yvelines or even the town of Aulnay-sous-Bois were mentioned, without us yet knowing the choice or preference of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and the Qatari leaders on this subject For now. As for the supporters, a large majority continue to hope for a turnaround in the situation in order to stay at the Parc des Princes but this is clearly not the trend.
