new start almost concluded, the degreasing operation continues

OL continues its downsizing operation with the imminent sale of Adryelson, Brazilian central defender loaned this season to Botafogo. While Jeffinho has already left to permanently join the Brazilian club for €5.3 million, Adryelson is now the priority of Trabzonspor, a Turkish club in difficulty this season (14th in Super Lig). Negotiations between the two clubs have reached a decisive stage, with an agreement for a loan with option to buy almost concluded according to Foot Mercato. It remains to finalize the agreement with the player himself.

Adryelson heads straight for Turkey

This departure constitutes a major step forward in the process of reducing the payroll of OL, which is seeking to restore its finances after the DNCG sanctions. These successive departures, particularly with the transfer of Jeffinho and other upcoming players, allow the club to show its credentials before going before the FFF appeals committee this Friday. If this transfer materializes, it will complete a downsizing necessary to clean up the club's accounts, while offering Adryelson a new opportunity to relaunch his career in Turkey.
