Eirik Horneland will have his first full-scale test on the ASSE bench this Saturday against Stade de Reims at Geoffroy-Guichard (5 p.m.). To do this, the new Greens coach will be deprived of the injured Yvann Maçon, Ben Old, Ibrahima Wadji and Thomas Monconduit. Yunis Abdelhamid and Ibrahim Sissoko will be suspended for this match on the 16th day of Ligue 1, while Mathis Amougou, in trouble with a calf, is doubtful. To console himself, Horneland can always say that he can count on two unexpected big names in his squad: the same Abdelhamid and Mickaël Nadé.

Nadé, expected to make his return to the Saint-Etienne group after his physical problems at the end of 2024, is for his part the best tackler in L1 this season, tied with Monegasque Mohammed Salisu.
