According to the Spanish press, Portuguese international Vitinha could be one of Real Madrid's main targets for the next transfer window.
He is one of the most prominent Portuguese players at the moment. Having become a regular starter in the Parisian ranks since his arrival at the club in 2022, the 24-year-old midfielder, Vitinha, continues to make a name for himself among the biggest teams on the planet. Recently, it was Real Madrid who would have checked his name on their shortlist, with a view to the next winter transfer window.
The Portuguese Vitinha followed by Real Madrid?
According to information from the Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid would have two priorities for their next transfer windows. In addition to the recruitment of a right back, in order to compensate for the imminent end of Dani Carvajal's cycle, the Madrid club is reportedly looking for an additional midfielder.“Real Madrid is looking for a skilled player with the ball, capable of organizing the team's play and fulfilling the role that Toni Kroos had in the squad”specifies the Spanish newspaper.
In this register, several players would be monitored by the Spanish management, and could therefore come to strengthen Real Madrid during the next transfer window periods. This is particularly the case of Parisian midfielder Vitinha, who would be among the top of the list, like Real Sociedad player Martin Zubimendi.
The preserve of Paris Saint-Germain?
If Real Madrid's interest in Vitinha could materialize in an offer from the current reigning European champion, the operation has, a priori, very little chance of resulting in a transfer. For good reason, Paris Saint-Germain seems particularly attached to its midfielder, who continues to start week after week.
Since the start of the season, Vitinha has been one of the players most used by his coach Luis Enrique, and can boast of having more and more responsibilities in the Parisian ranks. The latter has notably established himself as one of the main penalty takers of his team, since he excelled in this very particular exercise. Enough to encourage its leaders to keep it, despite possible tempting offers from the Spanish capital?
