More skilful with the keyboard in hand than with the ball on his feet, he decides to mainly cover a beloved sport, criticized and hated at the same time (football) and a sport that is not one (wrestling).

After OM's big victory in the Coupe de against AS Saint-Étienne (4-0), Roberto De Zerbi praised the seriousness of his players, while pointing out moments of inattention. The demanding coach warned his team of the importance of maintaining maximum concentration to avoid mistakes that he describes as “stupid”.

For its entry into contention in the Coupe de France, loon delivered a serious and accomplished performance on the lawn of AS Saint-Étiennedryly beaten (4-0). Mason Greenwood, Adrien Rabiot, Luis Henrique et Pierre-Emile Højbjerg allowed the Marseille club to end the year in the best possible way, to the delight of Robert De Serve. Nevertheless, the coach of loon was not entirely satisfied with the performance of his players.

“When we manage, there can be lapses in attention”

Roberto DeZerbi was reassured, his players were not already on vacation this Sunday afternoon. “ This week, I said that after the match against Saint-Étienne, on December 22, everyone will have to return to La Commanderie. But until then, I don't want to see a packed suitcase or a backpack, because otherwise I'll burn them in the locker room.” he said at the beginning of the month in view of this last deadline of the year. The Italian was therefore heard. “There's nothing to burn, which is a good thingreacted By Zerbi after the victory against Saint-Étienne. Afterwards, we could have scored even more goals, we had a very good first half. In the second half, it was game management and, when you manage, there can be lapses in attention. »

“It was a bit stupid, but hey…”

Perfectionist, By Zerbi had one regret despite the final score: “ We gave Saint-Étienne two chances, which was a bit stupid, but hey… If we look at the last 4 or 5 matches, they are really good matches and I think I can be proud of my players. »
