This weekend, the English championship was again on the other side of the Channel. A few days before the start of the traditional Boxing Day, four matches took place at 3 p.m. in the Premier League this Sunday. Traveling to a shaky Everton, Chelsea had the opportunity to consolidate their second place by getting ever closer to Liverpool at the top of the standings. Hyper dominant against a very compact Liverpool block, the Blues failed in their mission by conceding a goalless and frustrating draw. Having 75% of the possession, Nicolas Jackson's teammates could not find the fault against a grouped defense. Despite the attacks of the Senegalese striker (26th, 31st), the nets did not shake and Chelsea had to be content with a sharing of points which did not suit them.
