Summer recruit from ASSE, Yunis Abdelhamid is already in the process of leaving for the Greens.
Last summer, AS Saint-Étienne thought they were making a good move by freely securing the services of Yunis Abdelhamid, who was coming to the end of his contract with Stade de Reims. But the first part of the season was very complicated for the Moroccan, who quickly became the head of the Saint-Etienne supporters. Despite often disastrous performances, the former Rémois still started 11 of the 15 Ligue 1 matches played by the Greens since the start of the season.

However, the Saint-Etienne management would not really count on Yunis Abdelhamid for the future. And for good reason, according to L'Équipe, the 37-year-old central defender is already on his way to ASSE. Already arriving at the end of his contract next June, having only committed one year to the Foréz club, the Moroccan international would therefore not be heading towards an extension with the Greens and should instead leave ASSE this winter or next summer.
