After trying different sports, Thibault turned to a career as an amateur footballer. When making a choice between becoming a professional footballer and a journalist, the qualities tipped the scales to one side. Here he is now in the editorial staff of 10 Sport, after a diploma obtained at the International Institute of Communication in Paris.
With Luis Campos as sports advisor, PSG was logically drawn from Portugal for its transfer window and in particular from Benfica. The two Portuguese continue to follow each other, which did not fail to astonish Ramos' father.
Arrived at PSG in 2023, Gonçalo Ramos this season found a player he knows very well. Indeed, João Neves was recruited by the capital club, thus leaving in turn Benfica to join Paris. Very close to the Lisbon side, the two Portuguese are once again a pair in PSG.

In total, the PSG will have spent €150M to associate Gonçalo Ramos (€80M) and João Neves (70M€) in the French capital. Enough to hallucinate the father of the Portuguese striker. Indeed, for The Parisian, Manuel Ramos said about his son and Neves : « It's always a pleasure to see them play: Gonçalo, because he's my son, and João, because he was trained by me very early and I have a special affection for him ».
“I never thought they would play together”
