Singo not sanctioned by the LFP after his attack on Donnarumma

The LFP disciplinary committee sanctioned Wilfried Singo with a one-match suspension, but unrelated to his sole on Gianluigi Donnarumma's face on Wednesday during the Monaco- clash.

Strict application of the rules or arbitration scandal? The LFP disciplinary committee announced the sanctions this Friday after the advanced match of the 16th day of Ligue 1 between Monaco and PSG (2-4). Wilfried Singo receives a one-match suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards after the warning received at the start of the match for a foul on Désiré Doué. Since the sanction takes effect from December 24, he will miss the Champions Trophy against PSG on January 5.

A suspension match for Hütter

On the other hand, no additional sanction was taken against the Ivorian in relation to his (unintentional) big sole on Gianluigi Donnarumma's face. In the 17th minute, when he was at the end of the race, the Monegasque defender did not control his movement and his crampons crashed into the right cheek of the Italian goalkeeper, who was immediately replaced by Matvey Safonov, before having ten staples installed in the corridors of Louis-II. Already warned of a yellow card a little earlier, Singo was not sanctioned for this gesture which Luis Enrique himself described as involuntary.

Expelled at the end of the game for protest, Monegasque coach Adi Hütter was punished with a one-match suspension. This Sunday he will miss the 32nd final of the Coupe de against the amateurs of Union Saint-Jean, a club from Haute-Garonne.
