controversial songs against OL in the Parisian parking lot

New controversy concerning controversial songs between stands. During the match between Monaco and PSG at the Louis-II stadium, as RMC Sport explains, Parisian supporters sang an insulting chant targeting the Lyonnais. This chant, already heard during PSG- a few days earlier, this time did not lead to an interruption of the match by referee François Letexier.

The referee did not interrupt the match

Last Sunday, the match between PSG and OL at the Parc des Princes was stopped for a few minutes following similar chants, chanted by supporters at the Auteuil corner. On this occasion, captain Achraf Hakimi, accompanied by teammates like Vitinha, intervened to try to calm the supporters and put an end to the chants. After a short interruption, play resumed.

The song in question, “The Lyonnais are sluts!” », resurfaced this Wednesday in Monaco, without this leading to a similar reaction from officials. During the previous incident, several OL officials, including Laurent Prud’homme and Matthieu Louis-Jean, left the presidential stand prematurely, expressing their exasperation at the insulting remarks. Ousmane Dembélé, PSG player, also condemned this behavior, deeming the interruption of the match justified.
