PSG: Galtier still in contact after being fired!

After spending only one season at PSG, Christophe Galtier was dismissed in the summer of 2023. Three and a half months after his ouster in , the French technician returned to service with Al Duhail in Qatar. And Christophe Galtier can thank QSI, owner of PSG, for this new position.

To take over from Mauricio Pochettinothe PSG of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi decided to bet on Christophe Galtier. However, the French coach will not have lasted long Paris.

After PSG, Galtier signed for Al Duhail

After an almost perfect first part of the 2022-2023 season, the PSG sank during the second act. Consequently, the Parisian upper echelons decided to separate from Christophe Galtier. After training the PSG for only one year, the Frenchman was dismissed on June 30, 2023, being replaced by Luis Enrique. But fortunately for Christophe Galtier, QSI allowed him to find work quickly.

According to information from The Team, Nasser Al-Khelafi – the president of PSG – sees often Christophe Galtier has Doha. The 58-year-old coach having taken over the reins ofAl Duhail (Qatar) on October 12, 2023. According to a relative, QSI – owner of PSG since 2011 – would have helped Christophe Galtier to find a club. “We can blame Qatar and QSI for many things, but not for letting go of its former employees. When they left PSG, many managed to get work thanks to QSI or connections in the country. Whether they are former players, but also former employees in multiple fields,” he said.
