: Rosenior fired, it's not for tomorrow

The very promising results of the summer have given way to doubts and lost points in a mess in , where English coach Liam Rosenior is however not threatened by BlueCo in the short term.

Just like Patrick Vieira last season, Liam Rosenior has thirteen points in thirteen games with Strasbourg. A result which is however disappointing because the start of the season was full of promise and some observers already imagined Strasbourg getting involved in the fight for European places. The reality is quite different, and Racing is far from being able to compete with the leading teams. Strasbourg will rather play its part, which does not encourage BlueCo to question his coach Liam Rosenior at the moment. In today's edition, L'Equipe affirms that the ex-Hull City coach is not questioned by the sports directors of the consortium American, Paul Winstanley and Lawrence Stewart.

Rosenior still has the confidence of BlueCo

Internally, we want to be rather confident and above all we refuse to give in to panic while four of Strasbourg's last five defeats have come against European teams. Beyond the results, Liam Rosenior was nominated for “set up a shimmering game” et “develop the hopes of Racing”. Two points on which Liam Rosenior has the full confidence of his leaders. The third objective, however, is to place the team in the top 8 and it will undoubtedly be more difficult to achieve. Regardless, the progress of players such as Andrey Santos, Doukouré, Diarra, Doué and Sarr is very appreciated internally. Which strengthens Liam Rosenior’s rating within the club. Suffice it to say that despite the accumulating defeats, the 40-year-old English coach is not at all threatened and his dismissal is not planned in the short term.
