Traveling in hostile territory, the U19s scared each other despite a three-goal gap. They still achieved a spectacular success (3-4) on the pitch of the Racing Club de France.
As part of the fourteenth day of the championship, the LOSC U19s were opposed to a fierce opponent, the Racing Club de France, member of the leading trio. This status evaporated during the first act, during which the Mastiffs scored three goals in quick succession with Boussadia (27′), Akale (33′) and Imbondo (45′). The second period was tighter, with the locals reducing their early score twice (51′ and 66′). Ruben Akale fortunately hit the nail on the head with a double (67′) before fear permeated the Lille ranks. Goffi was sent off at the end of the match (84′) which benefited the Racing Club de France, who however managed to register only one additional pawn (90′). Lille were thus able to raise their arms (3-4) at the end of a game during which the goals kept coming.
This victory allows the Lille youth team, seventh, to remain in the middle of the table, tied on points with US Orléans (6th) and only a few units (2) from RC Lens (5th). Its next meeting, scheduled for Saturday December 7 at 6 p.m., will take place at home with the reception of FC Chambly, bottom of the U19 National Championship.
