Gonçalo Ramos started for the Parisians against FC Nantes
The Paris Saint-Germain was back in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening, as the championship leaders took on the FC Nantes at home in a bid to secure their sixth consecutive victory in Ligeu 1. After a narrow defeat against Bayern Munich during the week in the Champions League, Luis Enrique decided to change his attacking trio to face the Canaries.
Gonçalo Ramos replaced Ousmane Dembélé, with Bradley Barcola and Lee Kang In lining up either side of the three-man attacking line. This is the first time that Ramos has started for the Parisians since his return from injury against Montpellier (6-0).
The Portuguese international was very lively on his return, providing an assist for Achraf Hakimi's opener in the second minute of play.
But PSG's number 9 may have reached his peak too soon, as he showed great frustration in the second half. He had a huge chance to put PSG ahead but managed to send the ball over the bar at the wrong time (as well as being offside).
He stayed on when Luis Enrique made three substitutions in the 73rd minute – and it almost proved to be a great decision. The striker was found in the area and held the ball well, he was brought down by a Nantes defender but a peanlty cry was not far away. Taking into account the fact that he hasn't started for some time, Ramos provided the minimum he could against Nantes.
