Laurent David coach of Herbiers, in the Talk on WebGirondins: “Bordeaux in National 2 doesn't bother me. What's disturbing is seeing the Girondins in national 2. It's an anomaly. I think Bordeaux will find the National again very quickly. We have to use our power against these big clubs. It's an important experience for us and the players. What is surprising is to see them in National 2. Since I was a kid, I have seen them in Ligue 1, in the European Cup. If they are there, there are reasons. It’s a different club.”
“We see the progress of this team”
“I would have preferred to host the Girondins. Afterwards, we have to accept the draw for the Coupe de France. It will be different from the championship. We will play in National 2 against the Girondins in February 2025. They will be even stronger. I know that Bordeaux is favorite, because we see the progress of this team.”
