Two big flops avoided?

During the last summer transfer window, rumors leading to English striker Eddie and Nketiah and German international Youssoufa Moukoko punctuated the last month of this very special period. The performances of these two players, so far, are the subject of debate in their clubs, an opportunity to take stock of their respective situations.

Indeed, although they were both announced to be close to the club this summer, the path of these two players was ultimately written far from the Canebière. Eddie Nketiah has joined the Crystal Palace Eagles while Youssoufa Moukoko has joined rival . A good for a bad thing in the end?

Disappointing statistics…

When we look in more detail at the statistics of these two players at the moment, we can say that OM have avoided two potential big flops. With Crystal Palace, Eddie Nketiah has only scored one small goal in 9 appearances while Youssoufa Moukoko has only scored two small goals with the Aiglons (during the same match) and has a more than poor performance when he is aligned with Frank Haise's team.

The mixed performances of these two players therefore indirectly give reason to OM for having preferred to enlist the former Brentford Bees, Neal Maupay.
