Mahamadou Sangaré : the nugget of PSG in attack
Sangaré now divides his daily life between intense training and his business studies at the PSG Campus in Poissy. Trained mainly as a center forward, he stands out for his ability to score.
He scored 32 goals in 35 matches for PSG U19 during the 2023/24 season. Less comfortable in the aerial game, he is decisive in front of goal thanks to his left foot.
The Sangaré interview with France Bleu:
This year, the performances are still up to par. He has 8 goals in 8 games including good performances in the Youth League.
Sangaré's stats in the Youth League
- 5 Matches played
- 450 minutes played
- 7 buts
- 19 attempts including 13 on target
Born in Dionkoulané, in the Sahel desert, Sangaré grew up in Bamako where he began playing football on the sandy pitches of his neighborhood. Supported by his father, initially disinclined towards football, he moved to France to pursue his dream as a professional player. Adapting to his new life was not always easy, but his determination and natural talent made it easier to integrate.
Supervised by Zoumana Camara within the U19s, he was able to establish himself as a key element of his team. He was also well received by the team, as his teammates Ibrahima Diaby, Serif Nhaga and Tony Mendy became his friends. A hard worker, Sangaré has the profile to climb the ladder within the capital club.
