Mbappé is “lost on the pitch”, believes Platini

Michel Platini, who was at the National Sports Museum in , commented on Kylian Mbappé's poor form at Real Madrid, as reported by L'Équipe.

Michel Platini also has his opinion on the poor form which worries French football. While in Nice for a ceremony in honor of Serge Blanco at the National Sports Museum, Thursday November 28, the former number 10 of the team shared a few words on the situation of Kylian Mbappé.

“I find him lost on the pitch,” he commented, according to comments reported by L’Équipe. “A great champion must rise from the ashes, systematically. This is what will make Kylian a great champion,” also declared the former Juventus glory, aged 69.

Only one goal in six games

Kylian Mbappé had another difficult evening, with Real Madrid's 2-0 defeat against Liverpool in the Champions League. The captain of the Blues did not score, but above all missed a penalty (saved by Caoimhín Kelleher) which would have allowed the Spanish club to equalize on the hour mark.

A new poor performance which fuels discussions on his adaptation to Real Madrid, on his physical form, his technical abilities as an attacker, but also his mental health. “He has become an ordinary player. This is what is most serious,” alarmed Jérôme Rothen at the microphone of RMC.

In his last six matches in all competitions, Kylian Mbappé has only found the net once. It was last weekend against Leganés in La Liga (0-3).
