OL: “Very, very bad”, Lacazette is merciless

Not very decisive since the start of the season, Alexandre Lacazette is very critical of his own level. He doesn't make excuses and uses strong words to talk about his individual performances.

Alexandre Lacazette is doing better. After a difficult start following his participation in the Olympic Games this summer, the French striker found the net again. With five goals and two assists, he was the hero of the derby won by OL against ASSE by scoring the only goal of the match. His first achievement only arrived at the beginning of October during a trip to Glasgow Rangers in the Europa League. Now aged 33, he knows that the end of his career is near. After the match against the Greens, he also said half-heartedly that it was undoubtedly his last derby at Groupama Stadium. For the media Carré, the former Arsenal striker looked back on his poor form at the start of the season and on certain moments of last year.

Strong words from Lacazette on certain matches at OL

He believes that the start of the 2024/2025 financial year is better than that of last year: “I'm not worried because I'm not as bad as last year. Last year I felt very, very bad. Whether in the game or in front of goal, it was depressing. This year, with 1 or 2 goals, I know that my match is very good, or at least much better. I looked at my stats, I'm better physically at the moment than when I finished last season. Mentally, it’s okay too” he assured. Now European after having played for a long time last year, he wants to take advantage of his probable last months in the Rhône. An entire club is counting on him in the European Cup, where Lacazette hopes to shine one last time in the coming weeks with his favorite and training club. So as not to end your adventure with regrets.
