The PSG radically changed its way of recruiting after the arrival of Luis Campos. No more bling-bling and accumulation of stars, the capital club is now targeting profiles missing from the Parisian squad and wishes to focus on youth. Renato Sanches and Carlos Soler missed each other at PSG
On the list of flops PSGwe can notably find Renato Sanches et Carlos Soler. The Portuguese and the Spaniard were never able to meet the expectations placed on them even though they were recruited for a total of €30M. PSG ended up getting rid of him, sending the first to Benfica and the second to West Ham.
“These two players do not have the level for PSG”
Romain Molina nevertheless revealed the reasons for these two transfers of the PSG. « Campos arrives, he brings back Renato Sanches for €15M. And next to it, there is Soler. That is 30M€ which is of no use. These two players do not have the level for PSG and came because Lim is a friend of Nasser and Sanches is part of the Jorge Mendes galaxy » indicated the journalist on his channel YouTube.
