PSG: Big lie from Luis Enrique on the transfer window?

Because of its poor results in the Champions League, PSG could well be active during the winter transfer window. The capital club could notably get their hands on two players, including one in attack. This contrasts with the speech of Luis Enrique, who meant being very happy with his squad and not expecting any arrivals this winter.

Last summer, PSG lost big with the departure of Kylian Mbappé towards the Real Madrid. The capital club then made the choice not to necessarily replace the world champion and to rely on its internal reservoir, with Bradley Barcola notably. If the former Lyonnais manages to perform well enough in Ligue 1however, this is not the same in Champions Leaguewhere the Frenchman is having much more difficulty, with no goals scored so far this season.

PSG wants to recruit this winter

Bradley Stagger is not the only player in the PSG to have problems with the finishing in Champions League. No attacker from the capital club has yet found the fault in C1 and it's starting to become urgent. According to information from The Team, Luis Enrique would therefore like the Parisian leaders to offer him an additional attacker this winter. The Spanish coach's desire would be to get his hands on a winger in order to compete with the former Lyonnais. But that is not all, because the PSG would also want to recruit a right-handed central defender to compensate for the possible departure of Milan Skriniar.

“I have no shortage of players”

The private actions of PSG contrast with the public discourse of the capital club. Recently, at a press conference, Luis Enrique declared to be totally satisfied with his squad and not to expect anything from the winter transfer window. “I have no shortage of players. I am very satisfied with the transfer window that we have had and, from there, we will develop the team as best we can to be able to solve our problems. »
